The Porterhouse is our most difficult to stock! It requires a special order and special cut requests! It is definitely worth it though! (Please remember, some special orders may take up to 6 weeks to receive, because we fully believe that aging our meat 21+ days produces a superior product!)

 The Porterhouse combines two lean, tender steaks. Consisting of both striploin (strip) and tenderloin steaks, connected by a tell-tale T-shaped bone. If diameter of tenderloin is larger than a golf ball, it's generally considered a Porterhouse.
To be called a Porterhouse, its filet portion must be at least 1.25 inches. The filet on the T-bone must be at least 0.5 inches. Therefore, the T-bone would include any portion of filet between 0.5 and 1.24inches. Any filet portion at or above 1.25 inches would be a Porterhouse. Ours run between 1.5 - 3.5 inches. You might look at it this way:  Our Porterhouses are the “Kings of the T-Bones”.
